Warranty Service Policy

TL;DR – Hydramatics‑manufactured products carry a 3‑month warranty; products from other brands (e.g., Camozzi, Hy‑Lok) carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Our service work (repairs, fabrication, call‑outs) is warranted for 3 months. Contact sales@hydramatics.co.za to lodge claims.

  1. Standard Warranty

Hydramatics warrants that products we manufacture are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 3 months from the date of dispatch. Products supplied by third‑party manufacturers (such as Camozzi Automation, Hy‑Lok and others) carry the warranty provided by that manufacturer (typically 12 months or as otherwise specified). Consumable items (e.g., filters, seals) are warranted only against manufacturing defects at delivery.

  1. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects arising from:

• Improper installation, commissioning or maintenance not in accordance with the product instructions.

• Unauthorised repair, modification or misuse.

• Normal wear and tear, corrosion, contamination, chemical attack or acts of God.

• Use of the product outside its specifications or for purposes other than those intended.

• Services or products not supplied by Hydramatics.

  1. Warranty Claim Procedure
  2. Identify the issue: As soon as you become aware of a defect, stop using the product and contact our technical support team at sales@hydramatics.co.za or +27 11 608 1340. Provide your order number, product details, a description of the fault and, if possible, photos or videos.
  3. Authorisation: We will assess whether the issue may be covered by warranty and will provide a return authorisation and instructions if inspection is required.
  4. Return the product: Pack the product securely and return it to us. We may arrange collection at our discretion.
  5. Assessment: We will inspect and test the product. If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace the product at no charge or, if repair/replacement is not feasible, refund the purchase price. If the defect is not covered, we will provide a quote for repair or replacement. You may choose to have the product returned unrepaired at your cost.
  1. Service and Call‑Outs

• Workshop repairs and fabrication are undertaken on a time‑and‑materials basis. We provide estimates on request; final charges reflect actual labour, materials and parts used.

• On‑site service and call‑outs are charged at an hourly rate plus travel costs. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a minimum call‑out fee.

• Our workmanship on repairs, fabrication and call‑outs is warranted for 3 months from completion. This warranty covers defects in our service labour and does not extend or replace product warranties.
